About us
We fell in love with this property in 2015 when Amanda was pregnant with our third. Brendan knew the canyon a little from many miles spent running/hiking back in the Purisima Creek Redwood Preserve. We were looking for additional space for our growing family, but soon realized that meant outdoor space instead of square footage. It only took one viewing to fall in love and during the second visit we started wandering the acres that had so much potential. We had more visions for the space than we had time or money, but over the last 8+ years we’ve chipped away at those dreams. We continue to invest in the land to ensure it is a space to gather and connect.
Brendan spent 6 years in the Marine Corps from 2001-2007 and then spent the next 15 years working in Tech before leaving to focus on family and the ranch. Amanda spent 10 years teaching in San Diego, Denver and Half Moon Bay before leaving to raise our three kids. Our kids are 8, 10, and 13 and are active members on the ranch!
Our values
We are strong believers in being good stewards of the land. We feel blessed to have the chance to raise our kids in this special place. There are so many healing aspects of nature and open space.
